MANILA, Philippines — The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) and northeast monsoon or amihan are expected to bring cloudy skies and rains across the country on Saturday, according to the state weather bureau.
In its 5 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration, the ITCZ or the convergence of winds coming from the northern and southern hemispheres will prevail in the southern section of Luzon while the amihan will be felt in parts of Northern and Central Luzon.
